Recently, Cal State LA decided to revamp their campus signage to match its dynamic, forward-thinking environment. To accomplish this mission, they turned to the leading experts in custom signage solutions, Instant Signs.

Instant Signs and Cal State LA Campus: A Fusion of Style and Functionality

At Instant Signs, our task was to provide signage that encapsulated the spirit of the university and was functional in guiding students, faculty, and visitors around the vast campus. With this in mind, we embarked on various signage installations, each tailored to suit its unique environment.

Our Signage Solutions

The Village Commons food court, a bustling area frequented by students and staff, was an ideal setting for our hanging signs. Suspended from the ceiling using chains and eye hooks, these signs delivered pertinent information while adding a touch of modernity to the atmosphere.

For a more nuanced approach, we installed clear acrylic directional signs on the campus. Mounted with standoffs, these signs seamlessly blended with their surroundings, providing essential guidance without compromising the aesthetic appeal of the Cal State LA campus.

Our project also involved placing PVC dimensional foam letters flush on the walls using silicone and VHB. This not only ensured a high degree of durability but also contributed an eye-catching signage element to the university’s interior design.
